Book Review Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosh

This book was absolutely hilarious. Allie Brosh began her career as a highly successful blogger, and I have loved her posts for years. She has hilarious posts, as well as very poignant posts. They are stories of her life, illustrated by amazingly descriptive drawings. It turns into a combination of prose and semi-comic book-style storytelling, which works beautifully.

Her blog is also titled Hyperbole and a Half and can be found here.

Some of her favorite posts of mine are included in the book, including "The God of Cake", "Dogs Don't Understand Basic Concepts Like Moving", and "The Party". Some of my favorites were not included in the book: "Spiders: They Are Scary", "A Better Pain Scale", and "The Awkward Situation Survival Guide".

There were also many fabulous stories not published on her website, and I laughed heartily for the whole 369 wonderful pages.
