Book Review of Baby Crochet by Sandy Powers

Baby Crochet is a beautiful book with patterns of varying difficulty. Each pattern, in addition to regular instructions, includes step-by-step instructions with photographs for more difficult parts of the projects. This is a major plus for me. It also includes, at the beginning of the book, a key to convert crochet hook sizes between metric measurement, UK/Canadian, and American labels, which is incredibly handy for an international purchase.

Many of the patterns, even the easy ones, are quite beautiful. They include hats, baby bunting, diaper covers, sweaters, cocoons, afghans, appliques, booties, and legwarmers. There isn't a huge selection, but the loveliness of the patterns makes up for it.

Another book I'd happily spend my money on!
