While I don't remember much from this period in my life, I remember a lot of the music I enjoyed even if some might take stumbling across it to recall that. The nice thing is that each discovery is like a treasure I didn't know I'd lost.

This song by Saliva was released on their 2001 album Every Six Seconds. I believe it was a big hit in the nu metal genre.

There are a couple of lines that are a product of their time, but the cool thing about this song is it's about writing and dreams for the future. The song title is the click of a pen and the pen hitting the paper. And boy is this video a snapshot of the rocker scene from 2001, fashion and everything!
