Review of The Crown (The Selection #5) by Kiera Cass

The Crown is book five in the series The Selection.

The final book in the series centers on the end of Princess Eadlyn's Selection. As she eliminates more suitors, she realizes that she might actually want to find her husband in the Selection.

Shocking events throw Eadlyn into the spotlight even more and she finds herself faced with tougher decisions than ever before.

As she is tested through trials she never thought she'd have, she finds herself facing the truth about the Selection: she's in love, but not with someone she expected.

This book was amazing. The trials Eadlyn faces in this book test her character and make her face a lot of hard truths. When someone has to face life in this way, it makes faking life pointless, and I like that Eadlyn sees that. She's a very honest person, to a fault, and I like that, too.

The decisions she has to make and the way she grows as a person in this book are incredible. She went from being a spoiled but well-intentioned girl to a powerful and wise woman. I also absolutely love who she chose as the winner of the Selection. I was rooting for him from early on, despite his challenges.

I loved this book, and the series. The book gets:
