WIP: Twisting Lace Socks

My continuing Work In Progress is the striped crochet socks.

The pattern is a free one from Yarnspirations called Twisting Lace Socks. I'm crocheting them in Loops & Threads Perfect Pair sock yarn in the color "born to run." It's self-striping, and the colors are beautiful. The sock is turning out to be a gorgeous one, though a simple pattern, because of the yarn.

I've made socks with this pattern a couple of times before. It's easy to follow, though I always struggle with the heel in this pattern. The first sock I made, it took me a long time to figure out the heel, but this time I only had to restart once. It's the only downfall of the pattern.

Right now, I'm just shy of making the cuff, almost finished with the leg. I'm excited to finish the sock and see what the whole thing looks like!
