This song is by Dead or Alive from their 1985 album Youthquake. It was a huge hit, one of their two biggest, hitting number one on the charts in the UK and Canada, and hitting number eleven in the US.

Arguably, the strongest part of the song is Pete Burns's incredible vocals as he belts the lyrics with power and beauty as well as meeting the tone of the pop song. It's a feat of strength in his voice and abilities. Amazing.
