Candlelight Lullaby

When I was fifteen, an album came out that is still my favorite of all time. The album speaks to me, and I don't know that I could tell you even now what it says to me. I can't put it into words, but listening to it gives me peace.

As I went through my first episode of depression when I was fifteen, this album helped me through. No one knew what I was feeling, but somehow I felt heard when I listened to this album. I would sit in my room in the dark, staring at a single lit candle while I listened to this album. It calmed me and helped me to keep going through the darkness.



This was the big single off this album, and it is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
