Mega Scarf!
One of the recent styles in scarves are mega scarves--enormous and very, very long. I had a beautiful bouclé yarn that I had been trying to find a use for and decided to give it a shot as a mega scarf. I used a rectangular loom to knit it via the double-knitting method, which gives it a very different look than traditional knitting.
Despite the loose knitting, when wrapped around me it's very warm and covers the lower half of my face unless I constantly push it down. The scarf itself is approximately 18' long, which is far bigger than I was intending, but I like it anyway.
