Rainbow Prayer Shawl!
One of my earliest projects, and my first shawl, was a garter stitch shawl made in Lion Bran Yarn's Homespun, a very soft but somewhat delicate yarn. It was very simple to make, and is very warm. It's my favorite shawl and the self-striping yarn moves through all the colors of the rainbow, making a simple garter stitch project very beautiful.
This shawl is a wonderful in between for when it's too cool for shirtsleeves and too warm for a sweater. I pull it out most in Fall and Spring, or when it's really cold and a sweater isn't quite enough.
A beautiful and practical garment that remains my favorite shawl.
