Variegated Twisting Lace Socks!
I finished my twisting lace socks, my second time using this pattern. It's a free pattern from the Yarnspirations website called "Women's Twisting Lace Socks." The pattern is fairly easy, except for the heel which I had trouble with both times I used this pattern.
I did a Work In Progress update for these socks on February 6, 2019. Click here to see the post.
The yarn I used for this pattern I got out of a grab bag purchased at Goodwill. It came without a label, so Ihave no idea what it is. I do know it's acrylic and fine weight.
Unlike many knitters and crocheters, I like when variegated yarns pool into fun patterns, like this one did. It turned into a diagonal stripe. The lace in the pattern leaned in the opposite direction from the stripe which makes for an interesting sock. They turned out to be far more fun and colorful than I thought they would.
I think this is one of my favorite pairs of socks I've made, and I can't wait to wear them!
