WIP: Bloom Where You're Planted Sampler

This work in progress is my current cross-stitch project. Cross-stitch is a type of embroidery where the picture is made with small x's on special fabric.

The pattern is from the book Cross-Stitch for All Seasons by Mary Engelbreit. For my review, click here.

I've done two other WIP updates for this project, on October 17, 2018, and January 2, 2019. Click the dates to see the post.

I'm working in the upper right corner. I've done the "O" and "M" in "BLOOM" and am working on the green frame that surrounds the word. When the frame is done, I'll move on to the other letters.

The block surrounding those two letters was about fifteen hours of work. Cross-stitch is a slow and tedious craft, but produces beautiful work when done right.

I'm making slow but steady progress!
