Book Review of Cross-Stitch for All Seasons by Mary Engelbreit

Though it's been several years since Mary Engelbreit's peak in popularity, I still love her designs. This book is one that my mother owns and has completed projects out of, and my grandmother, who taught me how to cross-stitch, has a copy of it as well. When I cross-stitch I think of my grandmother, and this book makes me think of my mother as well.

The book has designs for everything from Christmas and Halloween decorations to teapots (one of my favorite things in the whole world) and garden scenes. I love every pattern in this book and want to make most of them for display in my home. As I write this post, my current cross-stitch project is a sampler from this book called "Bloom Where You're Planted" that features a woman watering flowers in a window box. I'm very excited to be working on it.

Due to my love of the designs as well as the nostalgia involved, this is my favorite book of cross-stitch patterns I've yet come across.
