Ravissant Socks!

My second pair of socks is a pair of lounge socks in a lovely lace pattern. The yarn I picked is soft and comfortable, and I love wearing them.

The pattern is called "Ravissant Socks" from the book Crocheted Gifts: Irresistible Projects to Make & Give by Kim Werker. I love this book in general and this pattern was delightful to crochet.

This was my first foray into fine weight yarn and a small crochet hook. It took a while for me to get the hang of it, but the pattern itself was easy enough to follow and the toe-up design allowed me to put on the sock and see how much progress I was making.

The yarn I chose for this project was Loops & Threads "Woolike" in denim blue. It's the store brand for Michael's craft stores. The yarn is wonderfully soft and made the project fun to make as well as nice to wear. I'm working on another pair of socks in a different color of the same yarn.

I loved this project and love the finished socks even more.
