Penguin!

In my continued efforts to make a winter-themed basket, I now have made a stuffed penguin to add to the collection of snowmen.

The pattern is from the Lion Brand Yarn website and is called Amigurumi Holiday Penguin. I adapted the colors of the hat and scarf to my own choice, and I did the eyes differently because I don't have the safety eyes they used in the pattern.

I love making stuffed figures like this even though I hate sewing things together with a vengeance. I find them fun and cute, and all the sewing is worth it in the end when it looks so nice.

This penguin was fun to make and looks great in my starter basket. I hope to have more snowmen and perhaps some snowballs in it before long!
