WIP: Twisting Lace Socks
My new Work In Progress is a pair of crochet socks.
The pattern is a free one from Yarnspirations, and it's called Twisting Lace Socks. I'm crocheting them with Loops & Threads Perfect Pair sock yarn in the color "born to run." It's a soft, self-striping fingering weight yarn that has a significant stretch to it for comfortable socks.
I've made a couple of pairs of socks with this toe-up pattern before, and I find the pattern easy to follow. The stitch repeat is easy to remember, and the sock works up quickly for me. Right now I'm working on the foot, almost to the point that I will form the heel. In this pattern, I'll fasten off, then attach yarn with a slip stitch and start the heel.
I'm enjoying making these socks, and the colors are lovely. They make the sock even more fun to crochet.
