Picturesque Respite

Spring is a beautiful time. Now, still in mid-April, the leaves are opening up and much has left to fill out. But in a few weeks, the plants will be full and lush again.

In early May 2022, my husband and I hiked at our favorite forest preserve, and after we took a short rest, I snapped a photo of this picturesque spot.
