Spring at the Beach

This photo is from mid-March 2021, taken at a local park with a beach. I often wade in the water at this beach in the summer, and my husband and I like to look for shells when the tide is low.

I loved the way the tree branches draped down and the buds on them as the leaves were starting to come in. Looking through the branches and over the grass and barely greening bush to the beach seemed so beautiful to me, so expressive of the coming spring, that I had to capture it. Then this couple just happened to walk into the frame as I was taking the photo, but I liked it with them there rather than waiting for them to pass.

Spring is such a beautiful time with the buds on the trees and bushes and plants peeking up out of the soil. I love it.
