Starfish Hat!
This slouchy hat is beautiful and warm, and it was fun to knit. The pattern is called "Starfish Hat" and it's from the book 60 Quick Knits: 20 Hats, 20 Scarves, 20 Mittens in Cascade 220.
I knitted it in Cascade Cherub Aran in Methyl Blue. The pattern called for a needle size that made the hat too small, so I knitted it on slightly larger needles. Then it was perfect.
Here's a view of the top of the hat. It looks like a sand dollar.
This is the side of the hat.
The hat is warm and the yarn soft. The pattern was easier than it looks and fun to knit up. Altogether a great pattern and a fun hat.
60 Quick Knits includes a lot of other great patterns, and if you like this one, I highly suggest you find it and check out the patterns.
