WIP: Brown Cardigan
This Work In Progress is a brown cardigan I've been working on for a very long time. I posted one other WIP update for it on October 24, 2018. Click here to see the post.
I've finished crocheting the sweater and all its pieces. Now all that's left is the finishing. In this case, the term "finishing" refers to sewing seams and weaving in ends. Most yarn crafters will tell anyone who asks that this is the worst part of a knitting or crochet project. The actual yarn work is the fun part. This? Tedious and boring. It makes for a lot of unfinished projects in a knitter's closet.
Here's what I have to do. I finished sewing the shoulder seams, so the body of the sweater is good to go.
Then I have to add the sleeves. I've sewn the seam on one sleeve, the one on the right, but the one on the left has yet to be seamed.
Lastly, I have the collar pieces. They'll be attached on the two long ends to make one big, long piece that will be sewn onto the neck and front opening of the sweater in a big U-shape.
Once all that is done, I will have my sweater. I've waited a very long time for this sweater and can't wait to wear it.
