WIP: Brown Cardigan
This Work In Progress is a cardigan I'm working on. It's my very first sweater and has turned out to be a huge pain, but I'm determined! After starting over at least five times, I'm getting close to done.
The pattern is called "Split Peas" and I got it out of a pattern magazine called Quick and Easy Crochet in their September/October 2008 issue. I was given this magazine by someone who picked it up at a yard sale.
The sweater is crocheted in five pieces: the body of the piece (back and two parts of the front), two sleeves, and two halves of a piece that runs along the inside of the opening in the sweater, around the collar and down the front.
Here's the body of the sweater, first spread out, then folded to what it will look like when I've sewn the shoulder seams.
Here are the two sleeves, wrists down and seams not sewn.
Right now, I'm working on the collar pieces. I've barely started the first one.
Not too much longer before the whole thing is done. It should be finished in time for me to wear this winter, which I'm very excited about.
