WIP: Armed & Ready Wristers

This Work In Progress is a pattern I got from the Yarnspirations website called "Armed & Ready Wristers." Wristers is another name for fingerless gloves. I'm making them with two balls of yarn I bought in a grab bag of balls at Goodwill. One is a soft cream yarn and the other is a variegated yarn that looks almost hand-painted and varies between, orange, silver, gray, cream, brown, black, and red. Sometimes the colors are combined, especially silver with the other colors. It's gorgeous.

I've finished one of the wristers. It hasn't been seamed yet, but here it is, wrist down and fingers up. The border on the top extends down the side a little and that's the space that will be open for the thumb once I seam it.

I'm working on the second wrister right now. Here it is in progress, close up this time.

In the pattern, this is made with turquoise and the trim in chartreuse. Not my thing. However, these will look great with my coat and coordinate well with all my hats and scarves. I can't wait to wear them!
