 I've recently rediscovered A Perfect Circle, and I've expanded my knowledge of their work. This, however, continues to be my favorite song of theirs. It was their first single.

It is the lead singer questioning his mother's faith. His mother was crippled, though I don't recall if it was disease or an accident, and she remained solid in her faith. This is his frustration about it.
