WIP: Ruby Mesh Socks

About five months ago, my grandfather passed away. He always wore bright red socks. Never any other color.

In honor of my grandfather, I'm making myself a pair of red socks.

The basic pattern is one of my own design that I made to fit my feet and large ankles along with the weight of yarn I like to use, and I applied a mesh lace stitch found in Vogue Knitting Stitchionary Vol. 1: Knit and Purl.

The sock is coming together nicely so far, and I'm very close to finished, now working on the toe, then I'll be onto the second sock.
