Emily Shawl!

I chose this project after falling in love with the half-circle cat shawl I made late last year. This one I completed in January, and I love it too.

The pattern is a free download from Lion Brand and is called Emily Shawl. I made it with Caron One Pound yarn in lilac.

The pattern was fairly easy, a combination of double crochet and associated increases and decreases as well as chain stitches. It worked up quickly, and is a lovely shawl. The yarn feels a little rough when first bought, but after a couple of washes (the yarn can be machine washed and dried) it becomes very soft to the touch.
