Jump Jive an' Wail

In the late 90s, swing music made a comeback, slightly modified to fit the times. There were more than a few bands who made it big with their smash hits, and this was one of them.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra released this single from their album The Dirty Boogie when it dropped in early 1998.

During this time, I had a boyfriend who would swing dance with me in his living room while we listened to his favorite modern swing bands. 

My favorites are always the original swing: Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, etc. More than a few songs by them I chose for the DJ to play at my wedding.

Still, the 90s produced some awesome swing.
