Anxiety vs. Worry

A new discovery of mine, therapist Mickey Atkins, has a great YouTube channel. I've watched a number of her deep dives and enjoyed them as they provide research material for my writing. But this video is something else entirely, and I love it, too.

In this video, Mickey explains the difference between normal worry and more pervasive anxiety. She also discusses reaching out to a doctor and/or therapist and what starting therapy looks like. The video is informational, and I find Mickey interesting to watch.

She mentions her "Back to Basics" playlist in this video, and because this is episode one, she couldn't say much about it. But as of now, the playlist has twenty-three videos, and I plan to make my way through!
