Book Review of Both Feet In the Grave (Night Huntress Universe #18)

Both Feet In the Grave in the ninth book in the series Night Huntress and the eighteenth book in the series Night Huntress Universe.

Ever since Cat left to protect Bones four years ago, the 200-year-old bounty hunter has been searching for her. He's a master vampire who won't be denied the love he's waited for over his long life.

His passion for Cat leads him to discover that her new identity, the Red Reaper, has been leaked and she has a bounty on her head. Not even the secret government agency she now works for can save her.

Only Bones can.

I loved this book! Cat and Bones are couple goals in my opinion. Seeing the story through Bones's eyes is fantastic. I loved the way he just runs through tasks with his vampire abilities we've learned about through Cat's perspective, but I found experiencing them with Bones to be kind of exhilarating.

So much that we didn't see in Cat's side of the story was laid out for us, and I absolutely loved that. It was why I was so excited when I found out this book was coming out. I reserved a copy at my library before the release date!

There are so many ways writing the story from the other perspective could flop, and I'm sure there are people out there who think this did, but I found the perspective fresh and true to Bones's character.

An amazing addition to the series!
